
Aaron Brown has performed with some of the finest early music groups in the United States, including Rebel Baroque Orchestra, the New York Collegium, Opera Lafayette, the Mark Morris Dance Group, Opera Omnia, ARTEK early music and the Clarion Music Society, and has been invited to play with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra for their 2009 season. He has appeared at many of the world’s major venues, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, the Kennedy Center, BAM, the BOZAR Brussels, Grand Teatre Luxembourg and the Arsenal in Metz and has recorded for Naxos, Lyrichord, ABC Classics, CD Accord, InFocus and EAR records.
As a baroque violin student of Stanley Ritchie at Indiana University, Dongmyung Ahn performed with the New York Collegium, Apollo's Fire, and the Bach Ensemble under Joshua Rifkin. Since moving to New York in 2001, she has also performed with Concert Royal, Early Music New York, St. Matthew Passion at BAM, the Clarion Music Society, Sinfonia, Green Mountain Vespers, Opera Omnia, Bach Vespers, and as concertmaster for the Greenwich Music Festival's baroque opera productions of Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, Handel's Ode for the Birthday of Queen Anne, and Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d'Ullise. She has also appeared at such festivals as the Aspen Music Festival, Wratislavia Cantans, and Bachfest Leipzig. In December of 2008, she was heard playing rebec for The Play of Daniel at the Cloisters. As director of the Queens College Baroque String Ensemble, Dongmyung has led students in performances of major works from the 17th and 18th centuries. A recipient of the Chancellor's Fellowship, she is currently pursuing a PhD in musicology at the Graduate Center, CUNY.
Gabe Shuford (harpsichord) has performed with a diverse array of ensembles including Past Perfect, Bacchanalia, the Ray Anderson Quintet, and recently appeared with the Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Carnegie Hall. He won second prize at the 2007 Irving Jurow International Harpsichord Competition, and was featured on All Songs Considered for his 2004 recording with the ensemble Stolen Shack.
