Conductor and harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock is known wordwide for pioneering performance on historical instruments, particularly with the English Concert which he founded in 1972 and directed for three decades.

In 2006, Pinnock celebrated his 60th birthday with the formation of the European Brandenburg Ensemble, inviting other baroque specialists from around the world to join him in touring and recording Bach's Brandenburg Concertos. The tour spanned Europe and the Far East and the recording on the Avie label has subsequently been recognized with a Gramophone Award. MM Music organized and managed all aspects of the project. Pinnock currently divides his time between conducting, solo, chamber music and educational projects. In March 2011 he will tour a new solo recital in the United States delivering masterclasses wherever there is an opportunity.
